Brat seat kits made out of 1&1/4 .120 wall DOM. Shock mounts that come with it are 3/8 thick.

Photos of one mocked up.

I still have to notch where it meets the backbone and finish weld. But you get the idea for install.

Kits do not come pre welded as fitment may need to be adjusted depending on where you cut the frame and what size shocks you go with will vary placement of shock mounts.

1 1/4" OD????
Sorry I meant 1&1/8
I can bend 1, 1&1/8 or 1&1/4. Those are the 3 dies I have for the bender. And yes those are OD (outside diameter) sizes as this is made out of .120wall DOM tube not pipe. Pipe is measured by inside diameter.

The proper tube size is also there as an insert so this can be plug welded besides welding the seam for a strong weld.

I can also do a universal hardtail kit if desired. That I do out of 1&1/4 .120wall DOM as well.

And if you noticed the scrap metal in the corner I am working on dialing in a CNC plasma cutter. I will soon be offering motor mount kits and a forward control kit. I just need to dial in my settings before I offer them.

Hi Phil420
Your brat kit looks good. Are the shock mounts welded on already?
Is there any additional bracing between the seat frame. It looks like its 2 bent pieces of tubing and 2 tabs for shocks which is great just wondering if there's anything not shown. Thanks for your time. Ciao Regg

The shock mounts are weld on since placement will vary depending on shock size. I leave enough excess on the tube so that when you cut after placement one excess tube piece can be a cheater to line up the notching and the other can be placed as an extra support at the back of the seat.
I plan on doing a solo seat with a mono shock mounted for the seat so I am leaving that tube off on this build.
