Hello,
I'm in the process of rebuilding the carbs on my fully stock '77 650D BS38 carbs. I'm scratching my head on the main and pilot jet sizes and hoping to get some help. I don't know and can only assume the jet sizes in there now are stock, but have no idea what size they are.
The PO gave me a Keyster kit with the bike which I believe he got from MikesXS. The set comes with #135 main jet and #27.5 pilot yet. I checked the website plugging in my bike's info and this is indeed the kit they respond with.
However, the supplemental manual tells me that the main jet should be 122.5 and pilot be #25 and the parts manual gives me 4 different main jet sizes #s 120, 122.5, 125, 127.5 and the pilot is #25.
Assuming I'm correct in that I should stick with #122.5 for main and #25 for for pilot does anyone have a recommendation where I can find these, if at all possible?
Addendum: I just came across 5twins' stock carb spec table and it verified that I should be using 122.5 for main and 25 for pilot. As I don't know how to verify if what I have in my carbs now match this where is a good place to get quality replacements?
