So I picked up this frame as a spare, and for the front end. Probably going to build this one out over the next year while my bike is on the road after I finish throwing it back into the current frame.

That brings me to the current problem, the front motor mounts have been cut and ground flush. Except for the sections that go thru the frame are still there. Will probably need drilled out. I can figure that part out.

Can I get welder in replacements? Or should I get some made out of round bar/DOM?
I'm a professional fabricator, so I should have the basics of making sure they get removed fully (properly) and reinstalled well. I'm mainly just trying to see if anyone else has had this issue?
And what would you guys suggest doing.
Thank you!

edit: was told to give a bit of an update on the build progress. So here it goes.
Ended up fixing my charging issue I last posted about. Stator was cooked and the wires broke at the stator. So I replaced it with an electrosport esg730, NOS one i got on ebay. And replaced my rotor as well because the one from hughs had a bad wobble. Unsure why, but it wobbled on the crank a good 5 mill at the outer edge. Checked crank and it was good, so I replaced it with a banshee rotor from RMSTATOR. new rotor and new stator, fixed my issue. Also picked up a random new REG/REC from a newer Honda, and wired that in as well. Just to be safe. Its a lot beefier and should handle something like 350 watts. Now the bike runs with just a capacitor again. Charging right under 14v at low idle. I'm happy.

Here's the current frame after all the repairs I made from whatever drunk guy built it in the 90s lol. Frame cracked at the kickstand so i installed a new TC bros one. And replaced the old battery tray that was just a couple pieces of scrap flatbar, with the plate you can see in the picture. Had cut with a plasma cutter and grinder by yours truly. And recently just finished the paint, and splatter. It Was supposed to be black with silver splatter but happy accidents happened and this is what it looks like.

Just finished building this new fender and supports for it before I painted the
frame.

Pretty happy with the fitment.

Waiting on the new taillight from Prism supply co, then I can paint the tins once I have the mount figured out.

And cut up this old sissy bar i had laying around, made some mounts. And cleaned it up (I did cut the ends off, don't have a current pic) it's only gonna be on when I need to take a road trip. Not often. Might buff all the chrome and paint it black. Not sure yet.

And right before i tore it all down i made this mount and bolted up my new headlight. Should work pretty well.

Also picked up a steel intake manifold plate, from @therebelspirit, and found a cheap set of vm34s a few hours from me a while ago. Picked those up and am planning to build an intake manifold and mount those maybe this summer?
Got another engine from the same guy and that's gonna get built when the time comes. Same with a new exhaust. But for now just wanna get the bike back together :)

Thanks for the read! If you have any questions, or advice for me lol, please reach out!

Very impressed with your use of different charging system components to beef up one singular assembly of parts to work in harmony with one another. And a thorough 14v to verify function at that. I envy your electrical knowledge!

That rear fender looks really good with the wheel in place. The low clearance to the fender makes the rear wheel look tastefully large haha. Keep up the awesome work dude!

Thank you man. Everything i do is just trial and error and countless hours of research and reading. Often on here lol
