cafe seat

    I live the look if this seat. Does anybody know where I could find something like this that follows the curve of the frame? Or, would I be better off just trying to fabricate my own? I have zero experience in this subject, so all help is more than welcome. :thumbsup:

    You could try a airtech fiberglass seat and trim it down to follow the contour of the seat rail. $131.

    That's a very good idea. Is there anybody that has actually fabricated a seat to follow the frame?

    They show up on ebay now and again. XS850's used the same tank too. They used the teardrop too.

    Chris chapell has an abs plastic forming machine of sorts..nice build thread on a cafe bike here too. He makes custom seats. I dont know his price. Its chappell customs I think.. hes got vids on you tube .
