In the small oil filter in side of the clutch cover on the xs650 it showed small pieces of plastic the size of a pin head and small flakes of aluminum when was changing it. A piece plastic as long as a tooth pick came out the motor sounds as it should when running should the cam guides be replaced. Thanks jim

Sounds like it, but without pics of what you're seeing it's hard to say.
You can "drag and drop" into the comment box, you can "copy and paste" into the comment box... and just below the comment box on the left is a button that says "attach files." click on that and follow the prompts. I'm sure there's other ways too, but those are the most common ways.
Have you pulled the lower sump cover yet? A lot of the cam chain bits tend to wind up in that area. A picture of what you find in there would help.
