Hi Guys,
Carb virgin here: I am disassembling carbs to vapor blast, clean, rebuild on a US 1974 TX650. Apologies if this is a dumb question. I want to remove the diaphragm assy. I see a c-clip attached toThe needle apparently going to main nozzle. That clip is recessed so removal of it first seems unlikely. Does the main nozzle have to come off first and does it just thread in? Or should the diaphragm just slide out and it’s stuck from old gas turning into glue possibly? Any tips or guidance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks for your time.
