I am a celebrity on an XS650. I scored at least 15 minutes of fame. Front page top and center in the sacramento union. Inteviewed by two local TV news crews. As well as mike chamberland of PM magazine which resulted in a 15 minute expose' on nationwide TV which aired again 6 months later. I had the camera girl ride on back as she filmed my dog in the left mirror.
THE UNFORTUNATE ASPECT... This was back in the day where I had no VCR or anything like it. My old history teacher had recorded it all, but later recorded over almost all the PM magazine stuff for a soap opera... accidently. Anyway as the years went on I got a copy of the news footage. I have the newspaper... thanks to my mom saving it all these years.
Oh, you wondered about the video footage? I made two versions. A longer/earlier one where I was paranoid about names and altered the video as such...
And a more recent edit of it showing the essance of the whole thing... much shorter...
