In commemoration of John Surtees’s birthday yesterday. The only motorsport racer to win championships in both two wheel racing and Formula 1, before eventually creating his own Formula team during the aero advancements in the late 60’s and racing said rockets during the 70s against some of the best drivers in the time, including Andretti, Regazzoni, lauda, hunt, and countless more. Truly an Icon to the racing world who is vastly over shadowed(in the formula world) by those lucky enough to race for top teams.
