Just when I thought I should replace the tires on my 75
I can't get the master link out, the clip came off nice and slick but the master link which I thought when I put this chain it slipped right in easy peasy it's just not budging at all
It's an Oring or Xring chain (DOD?)
I've tapped on the pins with a punch or a drift or whatever it's called I just don't want to go Ape on it
Any secret on what I'm missing

On my chain too, the split link is very hard to remove. but the good news are that you can remove the wheel without splitting the chain.

Well there rear wheel came off and the new tire is installed and everything is back together But..
I have no rear brake
Could I when removing the lever that goes on the splined shaft be way off and that's where the problem is
I marked the shaft and the lever and maybe the lines are 1 spline off
Also when wrestling the rim out a few time the axle would move out a little to the right hand side ( I didn't have the locking castle nut on at the time)
Could by the axle moving out un clock something

I'd unscrew the spring and nut from the adjuster, mebbe get the rod cleared from the arm and then spin the wheel and see if she'll stop by manually moving the arm.
Might have to reset the arm from its splines, move it.....
I'll add you might have to get into the brake workings and remove that tire again.
Time and tools.......
