From the looks of your marks you are off by 1 spline.

Just looking at the picture isn't the dot on the on the shaft supposed to be lined up with something on the drum casting ?From the looks of your marks you are off by 1 spline.

Normally points to the front of the bike. If that's the way it was the brake shoes have bedded in that way. You could pull the wheel and spin the shaft 180 if you wanted too.Just looking at the picture isn't the dot on the on the shaft supposed to be lined up with something on the drum casting ?
You should not have removed the lever when you removed the wheel.I have to take another look at the setup and where it is now
I took photos before disassembly to keep everything the same
It's just strange to go from good brakes to none
I have to review my work putting it back together again
I can move the lever to a different area on the splined shaft but ... It's like something I'm not seeing moved from before assembly to after assembly
Is your master link still on there and together? Jeez , leave it and you can put the wheel back on the way it is.Is it easier to do that when it's on the sprocket so it's held solid ?
Yup…And I could have just slid out the axle with ought messing things up ?
