Bare with me on the wiring diagram. I am not good at wiring and I am looking to make a chopper wiring harness that has just kick start, points, and original stator. Does Something like this make sense and would it work? Do I need a circuit breaker or an inline fuse before the ignition switch? Any help and pointers are appreciated. Thanks

What I don't understand from that diagram is the battery right to the fuse box? Wouldn't that just power everything? That's why I put the fuse box after the ignition switch so when it's clicked (turned) on then everything would get power. My original question was do I need another inline fuse before the ignition switch

Not to nitpick, but your original question was "Does Something like this make sense and would it work?" So I gave you a diagram that's pretty much exactly what you need.
As far as fuses go, you need one straight off the battery for starters. In your diagram, the fuse is downstream of the ignition switch. That means the ignition switch is not protected. A shorted ignition switch won't blow a fuse, it'll burn up the wiring instead. So at minimum, you need one straight off the battery.... before the ignition switch.
