I found plans to build an engine stand, but they were hardly legible. I redrew them and changed two things; 1) added an inch to the height for clearance with the starter still installed and 2) changed the hole size to a proper one. Both suggestions came from this thread.

I am posting a small JPG and a link to the PDF version for clear printing. Let me know if it needs adjustment. Cheers guys!

I need to split the cases for gear shifting problems
I do believe I have scrap here or can get it ... a bit thicker stronger and modify a bit.
Round pipes perhaps at base and Square for the vertical
Possibly use the pipe for rotating as per Mr 5 Twins # 72

Can be two welds only at the point where the vertical meets the base
or 3 one piece in between for the distance

Jan, if you already have one of the simple angle iron stands like shown in post #104 above, I came up with a simple "flip" stand to use with it. Details are in post #241 here .....

I don't have exactly that type but something like the angle iron stand --- that maybe works the same
I will look into this ...
I have some scrap rectangular tube 1.5 Inch x 1.5 inch ca 2 meter long ( 6 - 7 feet ) at both ends are pieces of the same rectangular tube ca
5 inches at 90 degrees angle already there .
If I can find a pipe fitting inside the 5 inch 1,5 " x 1.5 " at 90 degrees the rotation can be arranged there.
If I cut it ( the 2 m ) at the desired Height I can have both vertical stands ready And there may be material left for the base

Thank you I will think some more and check what scrap metal I have. I will look into this ...

Thanks for the mention! Since the Deluxe version was released, almost no one is buying the older version, so it'll likely be discontinued. They're out of stock, and I'm not sure it's worth restocking them. The deluxe version has been well received!

Started attempt ..To hot and dry do it now. Welding can start a fire ..need to wait
Bended the brackets for holding the motor .No heating ..hammer and vice
Need to trim and finish to exact .... think it will work 6 mm ...

Yellow pipe don't know from where fits good inside the white
The white the same don't know where it came from Commonly Used for stand for some kind of machine
Other end of White looks the same but a little longer
