Wanted - Clutch Actuator Housing

Location
Rochester WA
Ah... the clutch actuator housing. I know I have a few, but right now I can't for the life of me remember where I put 'em. Hopefully someone else will have one readily at hand.
If this ad's still up when I run across 'em, I'll let you know. Don't wait on me though.

hello GaRRRRy , i just happened to be clearing out all my extra parts, Ill send you a photo of one and see if you want it, it will be free, so don't try and low ball me I know what I have.

I admit to thinking about modding a short arm into a longer arm. The holy grail is one that reduces hand pressure at the end of the stroke so holding in the clutch is easier.... I've looked a few times at a three ball clutch ramp set up, as used on some older Hondas, thinking there are some real possibilities in designing a variable ramp clutch actuator.

I might have an extra one off my XS400 that I'm pretty sure is completely identical to the 650, that I noticed at least. I would have to do some digging.

I've also been wanting to try and retrofit an actuator from a different bike. The one off my '05 sportster looks pretty identical, and it annoys me how much smoother and easier the action is compared to my 650, i still love it though.

Also want to design a nice hidden hydraulic clutch slave like another member here started and almost finished but thats a whole 'nother story..

i send it your way sir, it will arrive from apcustomfab & cycles, but you have to show us all what your using it for :umm:
Thanks man!! Any idea what year it is from? I'm going to be using it for a mock up piece for my modified worm gears. I found out the hard way that there are differences in worm gears from different years. Going to get as many as I can from different years and make sure the worm gear I buy for my customers matches the year and housing on their motor

did you get ur zip code wrong, had to resend it after googling your address , google says the zip code ends in a 9. not an 8 so its on its way to 98579 now
