Over on StromTrooper, a guy clanged the plugs on his V-Strom. The bike started acting up, vibrating like crazy. Finally put another set of new ones in and the problem was resolved.

This PDF from Denso, was bought to the threads attention so i thought i would re-post here for a heads up.

I had ordered some NGK Iridium plugs last year.
One didn't look right, not the same as the others.

The logo was wrong, among other things.
Also found that the threads were rough, and the center electrode didn't match NGK's pics.

Lookit the wavy surface on the threads.
The inner bore surface (alongside the porcelain) has machine marks.

Contacted the supplier, claims that all his plugs come directly from NGK.

Heads-up everybody...

I had a similar experience lately when I ordered a set of Bosch spark plugs for my Fiat. I was expecting German made original Bosch plugs and instead got plugs that were stamped Russia.

I looked into it some more and it turns out that they are now producing plugs and other Bosch parts in China, Brazil, India and Russia! Follow the cheap labor and low taxes!
