Wanted - Damaged/Junk Barrel and Head Assembly

Looking for a barrel and head assembly for fitting purposes. Junk is fine so long as the any bosses, etc., are still on the parts.

I've heard of guys doing it without disaster but have tried fitting mismatch together, that didn't look like they would work in a running motor. As Jim sez head, cover sets are clamped up then the cam bearing final bore is made. The valve cover face machining, prolly done at this stage also.

Fwiw... the machining on the head and box I sent are damn close. I kept 'em around because I figured that, in a pinch I could make 'em work without too much effort.

I used to have a complete lightweight "naked core motor" around here I made for easy fit up but handed it off to another guy.
Even dropped the liners and most of the studs out think it was about 60 pounds all in.

Correct. Gives me an empty engine (I have a set of empty cases) to use for mockup purposes.
