Do I need these on the big fin jugs?

Do I need these orange colored o-rings pictured here on the cylinder sleeves when using MikesXS big fin jugs? On the factory jugs there was a groove for the o-ring to go down into but on Mikes big fin jugs there is no groove for the o-rings.

Thanks TwoMany. That sheds some light. The new Mikes big fin jugs don't sit flush on the bottom end, with the o-rings in place, like the factory jugs did. I guess I'm gonna leave the o-rings on and just hope it seals nice and tight when I get the head torqued down.

Hard to tell in this picture but there is a small gap between the two mating surfaces. Maybe 1/8"....


Seems like I remember seeing where IAMCARBON had a similar issue with his big bore kit. Carbon.... If your listening buddy how did you resolve your issue?

Don't put them on. If there is no grove and you use the o rings then the gasket won't seal
