Don't know about now but was working at a Nuke plant in Sweden for 3 months back in '98, and one of my observations was that the town streets and roads were the cleanest over all I had ever seen.
Negativity +.
IT will never work if people don't buy into it, same attitude about EV's and that attitude is more prevalent in the states than Europe yet the comment on there being no roadside rubbish in Denmark is not noteworthy either????
I contend that most people don’t care about what they don’t own. Many don’t care about what they do own. Most people who don’t own anything don’t give a shit about anything. That’s why folks don’t want rental houses in their neighborhoods. That’s why private property is so often kept far better than public property. So yes, I believe that if you want a cleaner environment then the wealthy have to do it. The poor sod isn’t going to buy an EV. That’s up to the folks with the big payday.large population of people who just don't give a shit about anything but their own impulses.
Ahmen.I contend that most people don’t care about what they don’t own. Many don’t care about what they do own. Most people who don’t own anything don’t give a shit about anything. I absolutely agree. What I said was a bit tongue in cheek. Define rich. I say to my father, “But Dad, you’re rich!”But "rich people" aren't going to be able to fix what everyone else fucks up. Worse, just because someone is rich doesn't make him any less likely to trash his own things. I've seen many a rich hoarder!
You know what the sun's all about when the lights go outMississippi has about a 17% poverty rate. There are more important things to worry about than trash strewn about.
Edit: The challenge is how do go get people on board who are hungry or can’t pay their electric bill. That’s a lot of people I’m afraid.
They don’t own it. They don’t care. It’s a common way of dumping trash. Put it in the back of a pickup truck and drive 60-80 mph. When I head into town, nine miles away it's five miles to the nearest stop sign. Because of two hunting clubs 5 or so miles past my property I have counted as many as 36 deer feed corn 40 lb. ? bags that have blown out of the beds of $80,000 pick up trucks in the 5 miles toward town. not to mention beer cans, cartons and various other trash. These are not poor people, don't even think why the trash they throw into the pu bed miraculously disappears before they get back to town. There are also plenty of not so well off folks that contribute as well, usually beer cans, bottles and fast food bags and wrappers. I can't see a big difference in who gives a shit less. Just my personal observation.
AI bots have officially surpassed humans as the dominant source of internet traffic, with automated activity growing eight times faster than human traffic in 2025, according to a new cybersecurity report.
That might explain why they can't do a simple this not that search without always showing that. I watch a news special years ago when I watched news and iy was all about the internet making kids stupid and unhappy and I'm thinking it's making the robots dumber. Pretty soon they'll be depressed and join Incell groups. Joking aside I have spent an afternoon trying to find a non LED motorcycle headlight for sale and came up with nothing but LED headlights. I liked the old search much better. Also not to really ruin your day but do you know how FB cools the servers at the data center I have worked at? Evaporative water systems, like giant swamp coolers. That's around 10 buildings the size of strip malls evaporating water to cool the servers inn high desert farmland. Not to mention all the power they use and heat they create. Don't get me wrong, I'm certain everone that works there is very concerned about the environment and their numbers are growing so much so that they are going to need to use explosive charges to blast open prehistoric bedrock {environment), on Native land, so more data centers can be built to accomodate them all. Sorry, I said joking aside, I'm not mocking you just using sarcasm to illustrate why some people are so jaded about the situation, think it's hopless and have to laugh about it. Outside contract workers get lechtured and have to take woke training modules about inclusivity acceptance and fairness, everyone matters while the cleaning staff is about a 50/50 split of Latina and Natives. Oh and it's the final word on what's true or false, or offensive, or hate. You can be cancelled and never told why and no recourse which wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't already have a monopoly on private sales (or nearly have one). How do you compete with that scale with your pick up bed trash (which is a douchey thing to do) This turned into a rant off topic and I don't know how to end. So I'm going to go attempt to pollute the air with a bloated American made icon that's manufacturers have been bankrupt since the 80's, sold their only starter model to the Chinese (who apparently made it better) makes the most obnoxious tee shirts etc. If it doesn't break down. Does anyone want to buy a Sportster?AI bots have officially surpassed humans as the dominant source of internet traffic, with automated activity growing eight times faster than human traffic in 2025, according to a new cybersecurity report.
It also creates a lot of new jobs and innovation - but guess if you only like coal mines it’s out of the equationRenewable energy production in Australia is at the point where the gov't is reducing power costs by giving free power back to households, even if they don't have solar panels.
And Australia is not up near the top of the list of graphs in the article in the previous post.
Kinda takes the wind out of the sails of anti renewable crowd.
Costs are, and will come down. Sure some pain in the transition, but it is also up to governments to make sure this happens, even where it is not privatised.

Right now nuclear or coal fired power is needed as the baseline. AC current Frequency must be maintained absolutely or bad things happen. It also creates a lot of new jobs and innovation - but guess if you only like coal mines it’s out of the equationI’m however not a big fan of the large solar panel farms - would think there could be a better way!

Why can't we just have convicted criminals turn a treadstile hooked up to a massive generator.
United States would lead the world in clean energy, with our massive prison population.
This is not a joke, I really want this to happen.
