After perusing @BluzPlayer 's thread Good Vibrations and reflection on all the posts on this I'm going to abandon the idea of incorporating rubber dampening into my engine mounting brackets.
Essentially I don't want to do anything that lessens performance and I'm willing to tolerate a little bit of a tingle for the hour or so I'll be riding at a time.
I do have some brackets being made in the coming week so I'll keep you all posted.
