I want approximately same size piepe as stock header which I'm keeping, with a baffle preferably removable and a washer at the end of said pipe to open or close so from double wall header back it will be about 1.5" pipe I'll paint maybe, and I'll see if I can fit some kind of brass end on them.
Any comments, prior experience, same set up picks, opinions, and general statements, or information asked for. I think in tech is a post on attaching to double wall headers. I'm going to look now. I want to do this this week if possible I'm going to the country Fri or sat.

Edit: they are called " snuff or not" on a search.

If I understand correctly, you want something like this, with a removeable and tunable baffle.
That's what the system above is. Info on it here:

More info on the tunable, removable baffle here:

Unfortunately, the pics in PamcoPete's post #19, referred to in the above post, are gone, but the adapter is part # 548540. The adapter makes the transition from the double wall head pipe to the single wall straight pipe. If you search this forum for 548540 you will find the needed info regarding it.

Yes DogB exactly. Thanks for the info. I'm going to check it out right now. Right now is sat am BTW. LOL Much cooler here in the NÈ. Where you or any of your family in the flood are of TX. My brother lived in Austin for years, You can ride all year there? Although, I've been out on my bike in Dec Jan and February just need a windshield a crazy pair of gloves and a good reason.

The pipe I used was ordered from Verocious Motorsports, part # T-0150-W-A270S2-065-6-3A-K2. I purchased 2" lengths which I trimmed.

The main flood was in Kerrville. One of our forum members lives there, but he's fine. Another member lives in the near-by Hill Country, he lost power for a while, but also fine. There were a few deaths in Travis County, which is my county, and a creek about a quarter mile from my house briefly crested above the roadway, but I'm fine.

It freezes a couple times in the winter in Austin, but yes, I pretty much ride year-round.
