First Ride in 42 years

Yesterday, was a good day. for the first time in 42 years, she took a ride ( that did not involve being strapped into the back of a van) before this all I had done was start her up and let her idle for a bit. I put the gas tank on, brought her up in temp and checked out the charging system. any problems i had with cylinders not being balanced? sorted itself out (I took some temp readings with a laser thermometer) Soooo? I took her for a short ride om my dead end street a few times. Clutch, gear box all seem good. I am pretty happy right now! I dont know how to get photos from my phone to the forum. my brother in law does hoping to post some in the next few days

Hi, I ran across the bike doing a service call at a customers home. He is the original owner. The way he spoke about that bike...lol. I was really shocked when he was willing to sell it. My favorite photo is the one I took when I rolled it of my work van along with a wet cardboard box containing some parts
