Flat track fork oil numbers

77 xs650 stock forks FLAT TRACK RACER.

Anyone have any experience w a good starting point for my fork oil level? I have new 1kg mm springs for the track but im not sure how much fork oil i should be running in them. Springs out, fully compressed air gap number would be great. Thanks

How close do you think the street numbers they show would be to what would be appropriate on a flat track dirt racer?

I would start with the old standby - 6" from the top, and use the stock 10wt. fork oil. I would also do the "Minton Mods" to the damper rods.
