Fork Rebuild

I have plans to lower my forks using spacers from Hughs Handbuilt.
I need one of the tools that is required and need some suggestions on where I can find it.
Hugh rigged his own tools, I'm not that good.

Where can I buy the 17mm fork cap tool necessary to remove the upper from the lower?
Attached is an image of what Hugh rigged, basically a 17mm bolt welded to a socket.

Hopefully it will fit into the fork tube. Many of those socket Allens have too large of a diameter. I have a HF set that includes that size and it's too big. I guess the only way you'll know is to try it.
