Wanted - Front fender for 77 XS650

I am lookin for a front fender. I am considering bobbing it a little so it doesn't have to be perfect. A special front fender would work fine.

If you're going to cut it, focus on the XS650 Special. It will likely cost less money and they're more plentiful.

I think maybe the 77 and later fenders are the same. 77 and 78 are unstated, looks like 76 and earlier had stays.

Yes, you are correct. There’s also a difference between standard and Special fenders. The shape is different.

Any '77 and up will work. Amazingly... Partzilla has 'em in stock for about 200 bucks.

I have one...was on my '77. It has several small dents in the front part (hard to see on the pic). $20 + the ride.

Any chance of getting a better picture of damage and location with respect to front tip? Also, is there a reason a fender can't be mounted backwards in are the symmetrical?

They aren't symmetrical.

The more I look at it, it has a lot of dents and dings....not really good, but if you're going to cut it and paint it know some about body work, it might work.
