my 12yo son has recently started to consider what cars he might like. He's latched onto the early Beetles. Good choice.
Is she standing in a hole or does she have no legs.
. I think the grass is deep and at the bottom left you can see what amounts to her right leg. I think.
Could have been a poor man’s car lift. Can’t lift the car so dig a hole so you don’t have to bend over so far. “Raise the bridge or lower the water”!
@Wagner73 has it right but regardless a very nice picture of the rear end of a beetle.

Just got back from a fairly large VW meet. Car runs much better with the upsized main jet. Hesitation and popping on acceleration are gone. No more flickering idiot light on the dash but I’m not 100% happy with the oil pressure ay higher rpm’s. I’m still going to work on that. I might bite tge bullet and try putting a bigger pump in. The stock pump has 21mm tall gears and the upgraded model has 26mm gears. At the same time I’ll further investigate the performance of the pressure relief valve.
The meet had a number of awards, judged by car type and age. I was disappointed my old girl didn’t receive any recognition. They announced the big award - Best Of Show.

There was a guy next to me that has a gorgeous, restored bug that he had purchased in British Columbia. He did look rather pissed off when I won the award. I think I have a pic of his car.
