Handle bar grips - glue or no glue

Have used hairspray, clear lacquer, alcohol, specialist adhesive, et al. For most "rubber" grips, I would use the clear lacquer or hairspray....easy on and adjustment, and easy off if you need to. But having said that, pretty robust holding power, no rotation over time.

I like and use these Biltwell Renegade grips. They are very substantial. I push them on with WD40 and I'm done. They don't move. I safety wire them because there's a groove and maybe I have a touch of OCD. They do pull right off if I cut the safety wire and slide the booger hook under there chased by WD40. So, no problem if you don't have shop air.

About the grips, my hands are rather large, and I like fat grips. YMMV

I have these on my '74. I like the shape.

Try to explain a hairspray can in your possession found by a wife who does not use hairspray, and you shave your head
Quick make a spud gun and shoot a few taters from the front yard
She might be pissed at you but you'll have a good excuse for the spray
