Well, I guess it's a bit of a generic sentiment, but I hope everyone here has a happy and memorable Christmas.

I'm far away from family, and it doesn't have the same " I can't get to sleep!" excitement of childhood, but I wish all of you the very best of the season!

Me? I'd like a train set for Christmas, just to remember my dearly departed railroader father, demonstrating the 2 cycle diesel firing sequence of a 567 EMD motor with his meaty fist and forearm.

May your loved ones be close. May your belly be full. May the Christmas lights shine bright. May the new year bring a new/old XS!

Take care all!

Contrary to our usual practice of pretty much ignoring holidays, we'll be having a house full on the 28th after the kids and grandkids have fulfilled their family obligations on the actual day. Baby Daughter, both of her boys and their families will be here to overeat and open gifts for the great-grands.

Seeing as my daughter, both boys and at least one of their wives  share my twisted sense of humor, it'll be a good time.

Merry Christmas
And Happy holidays to all!

Many thanks to the artistry, talent, and effort of @magoo66 that made this possible!
Full disclosure; it's just posing, will wait for better weather before it's permanently (and VERY securely) mounted.

Merry Christmas! I’m blessed to be spending it in Natchez, Mississippi.

I visited Steampunk Coffee Roasters. He has very cool motorcycles in the storefront windows. He’s got an old BMW, a 1970 Triumph Daytona, a 1967 BSA and a modern BSA scrambler. It’s a haberdashery, a purveyor of fine cigars and of course, freshly roasted coffee.
We did a guided tour of Natchez today. All stuff I couldn’t have imagined.
