And this is it after paintingHow wild do you want to go? I built this for a mate of mine
He likes fat tyres so I had offset the chain 48mm

I do it on all my rigid frame builds my back and my neck are fucked so I can't take a rigid seat on a rigid frame anymoreI might have to steal that idea of the shock absorber under the seat. Never seen that before.
Reminds me of my 1942 HD flathead with its rigid frame and telescopic seat supportI do it on all my rigid frame builds my back and my neck are fucked so I can't take a rigid seat on a rigid frame anymore
That one is actually twin shock and the shock fulcrum point is difficult to get right
But using twin shocks gives you multiple adjustments because each shock is 3 way adjustable plus you have damping which is equally as important on a sprung seat
The ride you get is nothing and I repeat nothing like a pair of springs that just bounce with no damping or adjustment
My BMW and yam are almost as comfortable as a full suspension bike
Great idea bazz,I'm a fat 65 year old fabricator welder
I've built upwards of 50 chops bobbers cafe racers street fighters you name it
It can sometimes be cheaper to buy a really nice bike and sell off all the bodywork to offset the cost of building a custom bike
That's nice mate, not sure I'd be able to handle a rake like that tho lol...do you scratch build your frames? How wild do you want to go? I built this for a mate of mine
