Hello Jon and welcome to the forum! Thats a nice looking bike! What part of Idaho do you live in? My folks lived in Pocatello for years, beautiful country. I used to go visit them during the winter and ski the local slopes around there. Super cold! I went there one winter and for two weeks , it never got ABOVE 20 below zero! Pretty frosty for a desert dweller!

Im in CDA and travel thru Moscow on rides. There is a place we go for breakfast that's always busy.

Repaired the timing chain stop with a piece of nylon, cobbled an ignition from some 75 parts and some 80 parts.
All new wiring, just a toggle for the ignition and a high/low headlight switch.

Rebuilt the forks, eBay stock headers, Sportster mufflers.
New clutch plates, starter delete.

Tach only, no speedo.

The thing I like the most is the cvk carb swap, that really wakes this engine up.

Rental street bars, Chinese controls, h4 headlight, vintage Mulholland shocks.
New Dunlop k70s
Have new sprockets coming!
Also some needles to play with...

Update:

Front cam chain stop fabrication was a fail.

The nylon I used was too soft I think, lots of shreds of it in the oil filter.

Guess the motor is coming back out... Eventually.

Probably not this summer, too busy. And as far as I can tell it still does it's job.
