Rotary fabric cutter. Will cut several layers of cloth, leather, canvas and suchlike.

Inherited a couple of dozen like-new tee shirts from Frank, which left me with a raft of old tee shirts to cut up for rags. Usually use scissors or bf&i (brute force and ignorance) to do that, but the lady that was helping Pat clean house mentioned using a rotary cutter.

WAY faster. Whack the sleeves and neckband off, cut the body into quarters, 30 seconds, tops.

Seen them at local fabric shops, actually think my mother had one, had to have the proper surface to use them on though, rolled up plastic mat so you didn't mar the dining table

Quite a challenging art to learn (you never master).

Being naive to difficulty can often take you pretty far haha.
