So I just installed my new CDI kit from Hughs and am finishing up my build, super simple kickstart only build. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with how to go about wiring my headlight and tail light. My headlight only has two wires coming from it and works +- on a battery but when ive hooked it up to my bike it doesnt seem to want to work. Im thinking im doing something wrong here.

Led headlight? Try reversing the connections.
You have tested that there's 12v at the headlight wiring terminal?
I assume you have the bike running.

The bike is running and off the cap only. No battery
plugged into an external batter to + - it lights up
So, the light is fine. With the light disconnected and the bike running, you have 12v on the headlight wire?
I guess thats my question, where would the best place to tap in to power it. And do i just ground the other wire?
