As the title says I’m very much in love with draining the oil, removing the right side cover, and staring at gears and bearings like I know what I’m doing.

Still having a rough time shifting my bike. With the clutch basket off I can see the shift arm sometimes isn’t moving the pins all the way to the next gear. Sometimes I run flawlessly through all five, sometimes it doesn’t. Might happen when shifting up and not down, or it might happen when shifting down and not up. Or sometimes it happens both ways. Aside from opening the case and taking a look at the dogs, anything else that might be the problem? I’ll post up some pictures and maybe someone can spot an issue. If not, then I’ll be cracking her open and I’m sure I’ll have plenty of other questions.

Might check the sump and oil plugs magnets......see if those parts are still in the crankcase.
I bought this bike as a basket case with unknown anything about it. Clearly had sat out for some time, in various states of disassembly and since I've had the bike I haven't noticed those parts anywhere. Knowing it's missing though might be a reason to look a bit deeper though.

Just wanted to update the thread with my recent endeavors.

I ordered the shift drum stopper I needed (PN 341-18140-00-00), installed it, and took the bike for a spin. Fixed my issues with slipping, not finding certain gears, and just overall riding experience.

I had taken a look around in the engine for the missing pieces, but I couldn’t see anything. Could be that it had been taken apart before I had it and it fell out then.

Thanks for the help everyone!
