Whatever you do, I highly suggest you start a "build, resto, resto mod or survivor" thread in the Garage. Think of it as an online journal of progress and a one stop shop for all the questions (and answers) and suggestions you'll have along the way to getting it roadworthy.
I have an original regulator and rectifier off a 77 . Also a stator that crossed paths with the drive chain and rotor that got scored by a brush bolt that was too long.. Yours if you want for the cost of shipping.
