Stopped by NAPA today to pick up some belts for a snowblower project my Grandson and I are doing.

"While I'm here," says I, "I'll pick up a case of grease seeing as I'm out." So I bought a $54.90 + tax case of grease.

Got home, lugged it down to the shop (used to store it in the garage) and set it on the welding table and scratched my head thinking "Where shall I store this?" and looking around.

"Saaaay, how about up there on that shelf...right next to the brand new case of grease I forgot I had..."

Fortunately, I kept the receipt because I'm not at all sure the belts will fit either. Used the best measurements I could get, plugged them into a belt calculator and added a fudge factor the the clutch mechanism.

A case of grease is a 2 year supply around here and I can use the $54.90 a lot more than an extra case of grease.

I have similar problems just about every day. Just recently I was trying to find the second of two large battery chargers I "knew" I had. These are ones about the size of a two draw filing cabinet! One I find right off but can not find the second, now I'm wondering why I was sure there should be a second one.

I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's most likely triggered by the accident where I was rear ended while riding the Vespa. What really sucks is how somethings are clear as day and then out of no where I can't remember or in this case do remember what I did or thought I knew.
