Hi
So I purchased a 1978 XS650, and love it. However the indicator wiring in the switch gear was all broken. So after some working out, or so I thought, I solder in the wires. Now I get right indicators flashing, no issues but when selecting left, the flasher unit just rapidly clicks.

So…..I soldered Dark Green, Brown and white and Chocolate to the block to the small selector block and the yellow and pink was already on the top plate as seen in the pic, but I’m beginning to wonder if there should be a wire soldered opposite the yellow and pink.
Sorry for the long description, but I’m no electrician and if any of you kind gents or ladies have any pics of where the wires should go, I’d appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

I don't know for sure on what color goes where I do remember I soldered my turn signal switch after wires broke also. The should be in the general area after 40yrs. Check bulbs if the filament is broken it will do that also if someone put led bulbs they act funny on flashers.
