When installing a stud, the tried and true method is to double nut the stud and drive it in. Sometimes there isn’t enough stud length for two nuts so rather than boogering up the threads with vise grips try this.
Thread a nut halfway onto the stud. Then get a bolt and thread it into the other half of the nut. Tighten it up and you’re done.
