The Honda dealer in 1960 had a RC163 race bike in his showroom for about a week. It was 'making' the rounds for HMC. I was a sophomore in high school then. It was the most beautiful m/c ever

I can’t get past the handlebars and the size of that drive belt! You definitely wouldn’t want to get your pant leg caught in there!

This is a pacemaker motocycle for bicycle races
yep don't want baggy pants when riding. Need one of those things I had as a kid, a spring steel reflective band to keep pants leg out of the chain on my bicycle.I can’t get past the handlebars and the size of that drive belt! You definitely wouldn’t want to get your pant leg caught in there!

Reminds me of a funny personal story. About 20 years or so ago 3 buddies and I rode to a chopper show in NC. “The Smoke Out”. One of my buddies was riding a borrowed hard tail with an open primary. His pant leg got sucked in and ripped his pants up to his knee. Lucky for him he had lineman boots on and saved his leg from injury. But he had to walk around like that the rest of the night and received much ridicule from the rest of us. Good times!
Ususally I prefer a restoration approach to classic bikes.
But the purity of execution on this Guzzi would allow me to make an exception.
