Interesting motorcycles, not XS650

Not quite a motorcycle but I’d love to own something like this.

This was at Barber last month. We talked to the builder for a bit. He told us the owner is in his 70's and rides the crap out of it. There's a stupid amount of money in it.
Back in much younger and more flexible Z1 riding days, that would've been one version of my dream Zed.

Like Marmite, you either love it or hate it! 1954 Aeromacci 250ccView attachment 340072

You’ve gotta love bikes like that for the era and unique style they represent, in the same way that a 1950’s Cadillac with its enormous size and tail fins no longer represent todays aesthetics, you can see how they were shooting for something futuristic and aerodynamic. To me that that bike is like artwork! 🙂

I’m throwing this here instead of the classifieds, even though it’s for sale in Phoenix. It’s a bike you almost never see, a 1982 Suzuki GS650G.

Back then the Suzuki street bike lineup was crazy deep, they offered 1000’s, 750’s, 650’s, 500’s, 450’s, 400’s and 250’s , and within these displacement ranges they have chain drive standards, shaft drive standards, Katana sport bikes, cruiser styles, and even a full dress touring 1000.

Anyways this bike featured in this Craigslist ad, is relatively unmolested, a few parts have been changed but he kept the original parts and the price is reasonable.

And if you’d like to know more about it, here is a really good Cycle World article that was written when the bike was new,

Gotta love the early Z900's, I use a 2018 late model rs for my long trips here. Is a good bike also once you get the bugs sorted out

Have you had a chance to ride your new Harley? What do you think of it? 🤔

I have and it’s fantastic bike! I and I have a feeling this bike is gonna be my go-to bike for running around town next season. It handles surprisingly well even with these old crappy tires. I’ve got a list of things I’m gonna freshen up on it over the winter, tires being one of them along with an upgrade to the speedometer. They sell a really cool tach/speedometer combo that I may add. I also recently had the opportunity to ride a new Harley Breakout and other than the Breakouts power advantage there wasn’t a lot of differences.

What is considered a long ride in the Philippines?
I commute every month for work between Southern and Northern Luzon about 830klm each way but half by airplane and half by road and consider 400klm on these roads and in this traffic a long ride, particularly as it rains half the time
