Interesting motorcycles, not XS650

Great photos IBALT. Custom seat, Pantera fairing, spot lights, mucho travel stickers. A cutting edge tour machine of the day, and it looks well travelled too. Nice one.
Stock GL1100 seat! LOL!

You're right about everything else though. Had the Goldwing about 18 months, did about 38000 miles on it IIRC. Became known amongst friends as The Flying Pig. Sold it and bought a Guzzi SP1000NT, another superb transcontinental touring bike.

Not a motorcycle but looked like it wanted to be one. Or a motorcycle that wanted to be a car. Interesting though and not an Xs,

The Goldwing postings made me look up some pictures of my old GL1100 from back in the day. A not very good scanned picture of my Goldwing parked outside my parent's house back in the day.

Remember when a GL1000 came naked and Vetter and others made bank$ with fairings and bags?

Recently I have become very interested in what we used to call UJM motorcycles from the late '60's through the late '70's and have recently picked up a '79 XS650 as a quick project for riding this summer.

But...........

I like all sorts of bikes. I have mostly owned old Harleys with a smattering of Japanese and German bikes thrown in the mix along with a few British bikes. Unfortunately I have very few pictures of nearly all my previous stuff as I was not into taking photos back then.

I do have a few pictures of some of my more recent toys:

A '77 BMW R100S I had a couple of years ago.

My last Harley, a mixture of parts from the late 1930's up through the early 1960's along with a few new(er) bits. A little something I put together out of my parts stash with a few weeks of work.

I painted the tank in my bathroom, something you can do only if you are not married.
