Sadly now banned from AFT. In my opinion the best looking flat tracker in the past 40 years.
Along with the old XR750 HD. There's too many of both to let them sit, there will be regional events for them to compete in. There's quite the circuit of AFT alternate series running, that are almost better viewing.
Is AFT part of AMA?
Yes, it's AMA sanctioned, but it's been taken over by the France family (NASCAR)
The Xs650 doesn't fit the strict definition of UJM, that requires a transverse inline four cylinder.
My point exactly. In other words, if you want to play you have to make a huge contribution to the France family's favorite charity, the France family. They don't call them the "Motorsports Mafia" for nothing.
Now for something a little different. This showed up on Thursday eve at the local Moto Social.
CBX CAFE`. some tig welding job on those pipes. Note the engraved swing arm. Quite the sound track to it.
At low revs it sounds like a growling 6 cyl. then as it builds revs it almost gives off a 2 stroke sound before it
goes to a glorious howling 6 cyl tune.

The Harley(or Triumph,BSA etal)was replaced by the UJM. But the UJM may follow a decade or two later because kids find video games "cool". I am glad my bikes are fun and not "long term" investments.
Okay got my attention, what is the deal with this part that looks like a connecting rod where the compression can be adjusted?
