1936 Comerford JAP Speedway 5 stud motor - put away running after last race in 80’s at Costa Mesa Speedway. Was told it was owned by Jack Milne at one point. No receipts or proof, never looked into it, but was going to see if Rad Brad Oxley remembered the bike down at CMSpeedway. I knew Jack Milne and the Flanders family as I grew up in Pasadena and was very into motorcycles when young, my friend who bought this was a big player in the area - so I believe the story. I haven’t bothered to try to start - Ive owned it over 10yrs…. dreamed of doing some sliding w Fast Eddie Castro who offered to teach me to slide… just always too busy paying bills… now too old… this would be great to restore or keep in as raced condition!

Last of 4 prototypes made.
1915 Williams Clady Powered By A Radial Engine In The Rear Wheel.
873cc and three cylinders, it produces 10 bhp, and it has a two-speed transmission. The fuel tank is fitted to the frame just behind the handlebars, and the oil tank is integrated into that thick frame top tube.

250 Beamish Suzuki trials bike. 1978. A very sweet bike that I definitely regret selling. Frame is British built Renolds 531 bronze welded and chrome plated design. Was a project by Suzuki UK to use up unused RL250 engines. Very competitive bike in the late 70's. Really should have kept this one but at the time I couldn't resist flipping it to double my money in 6 months. Mistake.

My 1997 Buell M2. I'd owned the bike about 11 months when I took the picture. Bought it October 1997. Sold it 2022 as my joints could no longer stand the vibration for more than about 10 miles.

What a beauty. Had an /02 Cyclone myself. I can sure relate to the bone shaker concept you refer to. ONE FUN ride tho'. :bike:

Thanks. I also had this 1991 RS1200 Westwind. Bought it on eBay from Louisiana and imported it to the UK. Sold it to a good friend after a complete overhaul. I just couldn't fit on it, sadly.

Another rare gem. Is that a Baker chain drive kit ? I slapped on on my M2 after snapping 3 belts in 3 seasons. Had installed a factory race ecu,Andrews N4 cams V&H SS2R ex. and a Mikuni 42mm HSR carb. WOO-HOO!

Can't recall if I posted a pic of the old beast. also got carried away with C.F. goodies and a set of Banke rearsets.$$$$$😲
frt.fender, fly screen, air filt cover, ign cvr, clutch derby cvr, rear belt/fender hugger, under seat tray, frt.belt cvr. then went to town detailing the wheels, tires and bits with gold paint. Lousy pic. but here's how it finished off.

No, the early barn built bikes, RR1000, RR1200 and RS1200 were chain drive. Belt drive was only adopted after the Harley Davisdon buy in that resulted in the S2 model.
