The RSS 1200 was a very cool motorcycle. Pre Harley buy in.

I had a RS 1200, 1991 model. Built in Erik's barn by Tom Anglim between Christmas 1990 and New Year 1991. A good pal is now the custodian. It is #38 of the 1991 model year run. I bought the RS 1200 off a guy in Louisiana and shipped it over to the UK.

The old tube frame models with the PM wheels were the coolest
The black RS 1200 was completely overhauled by me and is a really very nice bike indeed. I can no longer fit on it, so rather than let it sit and rot away, a longtime enthusiast I know bought it off me. The motor has a whole bunch of stuff prepped by Dan Norlin and Aaron Wilson at Hammer Performance. It's a very nice riding bike and it's a shame I had to let it go.

so much reminds me of the last Buell X1 I had. That big air filter, one-off carbon tank cover, all to do away with the huge black plastic carbuncle on the r/h side. PM wheels, Willys exhaust - was rather loud. Pardon?

Agree fully with @Kevin Werner those bikes have capabilities way beyond ordinary riders.

Just inspired me to try and dig out some photos of Beezelbubs:
