Corners like it's on tracks.............................
At least up until recently, Moto 2 frames were brazed (Moto 2 being the middle class in Moto GP, 600 cc fours or larger triples, depending who is selected as engine supplier)Aren’t some high end titanium race pipes still “furnace brazed”?
Not sure why I didn't grab the new 900SS when it came out late 80s or early 90s. Still kicking myself in the ass for that.Maybe not very interesting, just my two "ducks". And I somehow like it

Considering what a new bike costs now.... and that's a new bike that will give lots of fun with no worries about modern overcomplicated systems leaving you high and dry.Came across this XT500 bike; never been registered! Unused as new...... Asking £11,044.00

I'm conflicted about this. On the one hand, if you would want a pristine, as-new example of old school cool, this is a great opportunity. As IBALT points out, this would be difficult (and expensive) to recreate. You would likely only buy it for the cache or for what it means to you personally, as there are less expensive, more/as capable contemporary examples that could suffice e.g. DR-650.I think that the XT500 looks a lot of money but I have seen rough ones priced at half of that. To get it back to as new condition would cost the same again even if you could find ultra rare new parts (you can't). So, whilst it seems a lot of money, I can see why someone would pay 11 grand for a brand new XT500. Sadly, it's likely to end up in a collection gathering dust rather than being ridden. A shame really.
