You got lucky there $ 2500 is at least $ 1000 maybe $ 1500 to much money for a 40 year old single not stock

Well you learn something every day. No, the picture isn't of a 1930s or 40s relic. Scott Squirrell built 1969. I had no idea these were still in production as late as that, albeit in very small numbers.

Google Lens says its a '76 Kawasaki KZ900. The gas tank did read Kawasaki.
It is. Last year for a rear drum; '77 KZ1000 graduated to disc. Interesting it has dual disc front... Kawasaki made a kit to upgrade to 2 discs... new master, splitter, caliper, disc, lines & hardware. Put one on a friend's bike back in the day.
