Interesting motorcycles, not XS650

Really? Click bait.
^^^^ Agree. Sometimes this guy is good - fluid dynamics of expansion chambers comes to mind. But then a blowhard when creating an obvious "entertainment" slam of a poor, little VT500. Sprocket and chain "windage"? WTF?

One for UK members, mostly.

I'd have an Ascot tomorrow if one turned up in decent shape. I think the big four could do worse than throw their middleweight V-twins in a standard style bike. I still search for a VX800 once in awhile. Talk about a bike that just up and disappeared..

Several friends had 500 Shadows back in the day. That little motor punched above its weight.

Harley's 750 vee out of the Street series comes to mind as well.

In Morocco. These bikes are everywhere, hauling all sorts of stuff
Been to China many times (work), starting in 1989 when things were very different. In the early days, before a lot of modernization on all fronts, there was a form of "tractor"...this reminded me of that.

I called them "Gravely's", as they looked similar i.e. a two-wheeled contraption with a motor, handlebars and a little trailing dolly, and behind that, whatever you can imagine...a delivery trailer, liquid tank, a concrete mixer, ad infinitum. Not that they didn't have big trucks, but this was the "every man" work vehicle. I'll see it I can find a pic.

Kinda like this, although this is a more "modern ' version. The original ones I saw had some kind of a exposed drive on one side i.r. belt, centrifugal clutch, aso.

Needs a XS650 motor...... Forum help please "a xs650 motor" or "an XS650 motor"???
An interesting dilemma.

Technically, since X is not a vowel, "a" is correct. However, when spoken the X sounds like a vowel - ehks - so "an" sounds correct.

I tend to spell as if I'm speaking so I'd use "an".
