Interesting motorcycles, not XS650

The geezus look. All it needs is a foot clutch and hand shifter. Perhaps he was thinking he'd grow into it once he grew up.

I don't see how those can possibly be safe. I'd like to see one go through a MC Safety "obstacle" course once. Or even just do an emergency lane change or stop.

Salute to all the men and women who have and continue to serve our county. I hope you all have a terrific Memorial day .

An old highschool friend imported one for racing. I got to take it for a ride before he stripped it down for track use. It was pretty impressive and would have liked to spend an hour or 2 in the twisties rather than the 5 or so miles on straight county roads.

Not really certain what this is other than an older Norton ES2 all dressed up for dinner.
Could it be a John Player Norton (JPN) prototype ? ? ?

Of its time, but ugly to modern eyes.

Talking of which, me Mum used to talk about the wonderful Liquid Engine Velocette - there was a woman in the m/c club she belonged to had one and it had water cooled engine, shaft drive and a 'modern' appearance which has not aged well. Having heard all the stories I was very disappointed when I finally saw one in a bike collection. This one in Police colours from Wikipedia:

Cell phone technology has moved on a bit too, though you gotta love the style of that handset.
