Interesting motorcycles, not XS650

I have long been fascinated by the Nimbus, manufactured by the Danish sewing machine company Fisker and Neilson. It has this wonderful exposed open air valve train and a very old school mechanical nature, like an old tractor, can you imagine how easy a valve adjustment would be on this bike? Here is an excellent short video of one running, it starts easily and just purrs.

I first became aware of the brand after reading about this custom bobber in Motorcycle Classics.

Long been aware of the 4-cylinder Nimbus, but never seen footage of one running. Fascinating. You said just like an old tractor - the frame certainly very agricultural. Probably adequate for a fairly slow motorcycle driven on quiet rural roads in Sweden? The open valve gear means total loss valve gear lubrication which must be rather messy and not conducive to long engine life between major overhauls? Thank you for putting this up.
