Somebody has drone shot a stretch of hiway that's in my usual 10 mile loop.
We've had close to 4" of rain in the last 24 or so and I was looking for some footage of the damage that's been reported of roads and bridges in the county. No damage shots but this one in a quieter time.
Looking South on SR129, Tater Bug Hill promontory is seen ahead and then a sweep of Fishing Worm Ridge to the right which ties into Tater Bug. A bit of a glimpse of Long Run (the creek) directly below to the left of SR129. Long Run Road was reported as impassable last evening. SR250 between Pleasant and Bennington was closed due to buckling at a bridge.
Everything is downhill from where we live so we're good.....hauling firewood is a pain in the ass though.....
