1978 Yamaha xs650 special, maybe 1/5 times after I’m done riding I’ll notice some oil collecting and about to drip on the bottom of the carburetors. I’ve recently pulled and cleaned and rejected them and put in new gaskets as well. I’ve attached some pictures of where the drips start to form. Does anyone have experience with this / would have any advice as to go about troubleshooting where this leak is coming from?

The drips are forming in the red circles and also on the bottom of the float bowl bolt

I'm with Mike. Guessing it coming from the breather, above and between the carburetors. If you're filling your oil to the top line on the dipstick it will spit a little. Not a big deal. Some add something on the end of the hose to catch it or direct the hose to the chain or air filters.
Is that RED RTV? ARRRG.
