I’m always perusing FBMP looking for bikes, parts or whatever and I ran across an ad for an XS2 front fender. I have slowly been collecting parts to eventually take the bobber back to a stock/resto-mod so I contacted the guy and set up a meet. In the message with his address he included his # and asked me to call before I arrived. 5 min out I called and got VM and said I’d be there in 5. When I pulled up he opened his garage and as I walked up he said “I know you”. I then realized that when I first built my bobber I sold the takeoff parts to help finance the build. Well this guy bought my(wait for it) front fender. It was the same one! He was doing a build and never used it! I basically bought it back for the same price and he threw in another spare. An unfinished XS2 sat in the garage due to lost interest. He is looking to sell it because of that same reason. We talked price but I’m not really in the market right now.
