Is it my turn? Anything to do with lathes, mills and other shop tools

New gun feed hose... with internal springs to keep it from kinking/collapsing.
New gloves.
New glass and glass protector.
Works great now, and amazingly.... I can actually see what I'm blasting.

Not sure if I already mentioned it but I had a RD200 many years ago. Well it was actually wife's bike. I took it out for a short ride and it started running bad and making some strange sounds. Forget if I made it home or had to call for wife to bring truck. Pulled it apart in side porch of the old farm house we rented. Found that the gear driving the oil injection pump had come loose/off. Rod bearings did not like that one bit! Tried to have crank rebuilt with new rods and bearings but dealer said not worth the effort and sold me a new crank/rods assembly for less than the cost to fix mine. A few nights work I had the engine back together and running. Then I sold it to a guy who had a RD400 he was trying to sell. Guy was somewhat of a used bike dealer on the side.

Yup, looks like I can get near-identical gloves from amazon.ca...not sure why I didn't check there in the first place!
Amazon delivered my gloves today. I'll second your assessment Jim, that these are good if not excellent gloves. Added bonus; they are big, so I can get my XXL hands in them easily.

Replacing the 4 drawer tool cart with something a little bigger. Picked up a US General series 2 box for less than half the cost of a new one. Not the color I would choose, but for the price it's fine.

More space to organize everything, and a flat top to make storing the indexer, rotary and vise easier. No more digging them out of the cart. The cart will get some work to become a weld cart.

Close, but no cigar...

Craigslist "Bridgeport Vertical Mill, asking $500, decent vise, some tooling. Motivated seller"

Really? I'll MAKE room at that price. Hell, I'll build room! Text, ask for pictures, details on motor.

Motor is 220 single phase. Good, no extra expense there.

First pic is of the Bridgeport head. Dirty, but appears to be serviceable. Mmmmkay.

Shot of whole machine...what the ???

Turns out, it's a Bridgeport vertical head adapter on a HUMUNGOUS Cincinnati horizontal mill.

Yeah...uhhhh...NOPE!

I was pretty sure it was too good to be true going in, but ya never know until ya ask.
